CSA steering group meeting 3rd August

Organisation Structure

Model rules received from Co-ops UK, for IPS (BenCom). This allows us to raise money through shares and loans.

ACTION: All to read and check suitability

Need to get forms and check documents needed

Decided to bank with the Co-operative

ACTION: Huw to obtain forms for community Direct account

Need to describe project and nominate officers for election

Need volunteers for nomination to Chair, Secretary and Treasurer

Work out necessary stages to project completion

Need to be observing land throughout year & record observations

ACTION: Huw to check suitability of IPS rules for CSA

Craig to discuss this with Mark S. and get forms for registration

Androo to write out project plan timeline and distribute to steering group

Huw to contact planning officer about polytunnel, water harvesting, wind and solar.

Need an alternative to 'Sheffield Community Land Trust' which doesn't contain the word 'Trust' (restricted to charities).
